Who We Are
When we started our TPA fifteen years ago, we had the option of buying into a claims administration system provided by one of the large System houses: or, to build a new system. After reviewing the costs and restrictions required by the large System houses, we did not find any claim payment systems that were truly built to service our clients in any cost effective manner.
Instead, we grew our own claims administration system that has matured to the
point where we now auto adjudicate about 90% of all processed claims. The name
of our system is Claim-Pro.
Lion Tech was formed in 2005 by Dan Lion and Jim Hartzell with the goal of
providing reliable cost effective software for the insurance industry.
